Flowers for wedding! I am asking my bridesmaids to wear these gowns…?

So, my gown is kinda grecian looking, made with silk charmeuse.

I like real simple, not much greenery…but am not sure the color of the flowers. Our reception will also be based around the oasis color…while incorporating peacock feathers into the invitations, maybe into some of the bouquets, or even some other small details (def. not going overboard!).

What color of flower…what type of flowers should I have for bridesmaids, myself and for centerpeices?

so you can tell the BM gowns and mine 2gether have kind of a mediteranean feel…but I also like to incorporate the peacock feathers…not sure what to do.

you guys, should I ditch the whole peacock feather thing…or maybe just use it in the invitations to give my guests a peek into the color scheme? I am confused! Thanks for all the suggestions! so far I like tulips, lillies…

You would be surprised what a shirred waist can do for you! That gown is probably flattering for a lot of girls…I couldn’t believe it when I tried it on how much I loved it…can’t wait to wear it.

What’s wrong with using Mrs. or wearing rings to adverise one’s marital status?

Most married women wear a ring, which gives shows it anyway. Why not use Mrs.?

I will expect my future wife to take my last name (no hyphenated) and prefer that she use Mrs.

As my part of the bargain, I will agree to wear a wedding band, advertising my status as well.
(Professor) – my future wife and I will agree on such matters prior to taking the relationship very far. People who make an issue out of keeping ‘their own identify’ tend to end up with totally separate identities after their marriage fails from lack of commitment.

How many strangers at the mall or on the street have observed a married woman’s ring as compared to the number of strangers who have seen her name in writing with the prefixed title “Mrs.”?

Therefore, in my opinion, it is not logical to refuse to use Mrs. but be willing to wear a wedding ring.

Royal blue dress – what shoes and colour tights?

I am going to wedding,I have a royal blue dress, what colour shoes do you suggest? I’ve fat calves and my sisters say nude tights do not suit me, they are very “old lady”. I’m limited to dark tights, so I think silver is not a runner. Would black opaque and black shoes be a disaster?

A touchy subject ladies and gents: Giving the ring back after a failed engagement?

Boy meets Girl. Boy and Girl become close friends. Boy and Girl get engaged and move in together. Boy treats Girl terrible, uses her, abuses her mentally and verbally. Girl leaves boy twice b/c she thought they could work it out. Girl finds evidence (e.g. pictures, cell phone bills, emails) and a confession that Boy has been cheating on her before, during, and after the engagement. Should she give back the ring? Or sell it for good riddance

PS: Parents spend lots of $ $ $ for a nice wedding that never happened. Money could not be refunded.
Also since he clearly cheated and I have proof can I sue him for the thousands of dollars lost for a wedding that did not happen? That clearly is a broken contract on his behalf as well
