Any one from the West Coast with any Wedding Cake Advice?

I’m having a belated reception on April 4th and would like to serve wedding cake. The bakeries I have looked into are all astronomically priced, so I think I might go with a supermarket cake… I live in California (San Jose to be more specific), does anyone have any experience in finding a reasonably priced cake? Or have any of you gotten your cake from Safeway, Lucky, other grocery chains and if so what was your experience? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!! It only needs to serve about 75 people…
