Are these shoes inappropriate for a garden wedding ceremony?
My cousin just got married a week, so I wouldn’t really call it a “ceremony” but she is having her reception in her backyard today.

The dress itself looks nothing like that. Mine has a black tank dress under it. It also has a longer piece over it with a belt. I could describe it as airy & open. The arms also have a bit of black lace on them.

She told me that the first pair looked like a pair of hooker shoes and she would be embarrassed to even walk around with me if I wore them. If I don’t wear the ones she picked out, I can’t attend..
Which shoe do you think would go better?
And would you let your 16 year old daughter wear the first pair of pumps?
