Beach Wedding : Would it look weird for my groom to wear white with my “ivory” dress?
I am getting married on the beach in mexico in January 2011. My wedding dress is satin and it’s considered Ivory but I would consider it to be more of a pearly white. When you hold a bright white shirt up to it you can tell that my dress isn’t that white, but I have ordered linen ivory shirt swatches online and all the “ivory” i have seen is too dark for my dress. So would it be better to do the white or to do the ivory that is a little too dark? I’d say go for black, but white wouldn’t be too bad either, as there will be plenty of sunlight on your dress which will brighten it up.
I think the darker option would be better simply because if you stand right next to the groom in a white shirt it may make your dress look discolored and if they have darker your dress will stand out and look brighter. Gorgeous dress by the way, good luck
