Black shoes with wedding dress?
Black shoes with wedding dress?
I’m getting married this summer in September. It’s an evening wedding and my colors are going to be black and silver. The bridesmaids are wearing black and the groom and his groomsmen are wearing black tux’s with silver ties. I’m going to wear a white wedding dress but it’s short. It comes to my knees and what I love about it being short is everyone can see my shoes, since with most wedding dresses you can’t. I picked out these really cute black glittery stiletto shoes that I love, but my future mother in law said I can’t wear black shoes with a white dress, that it will look tacky. Is she right?

yes dont wear black shoes. it wont look right
yes, she’s right. wear white shoes! silver might work too
I see a lot of brides wearing amazing shoes in the “wedding” color. Sounds good. Make sure they are delicate and not clunky. Look at some handcrafted silver jewelry at http://www.LSjewelrydesign.com
Yes. Black is for funerals. People who wear black to weddings are being disrespectful and showing that they hope your marriage does not last. Stilettos with a wedding dress? Stilettos are for hookers. If you want respect and a happy marriage, throw them in the garbage.
i would say no. silver with rhinestones will look better
no most defiantly not besides I’m shure you will look beautfull on your wedding night along with all of your brides mades and groomsmen and don’t let your mother in-law get to you its not her wedding its yours, and if you wanted to have a naked weding then so be it its your wedding day its going to be one of the happiest days of your life so if you want to ware the shoes you think are pretty then ware them and as for telling her say that ” i love that you are trying to help and i Truly do appreciate your oppion but i truly think my black sparkly heels will be perfect” say something like that but other than that don’t worry have fun relax and enjoy your wedding and congratulations on your wedding
