Custom Wedding Cake Toppers?

I recently got engaged, and I’m doing a bit of my wedding shopping early. My sister suggested something to me for a cake topper; I fell in love with her idea.

Both my fiance and I are involved in theater, as a matter of fact, that’s how we met. My sister suggested a cake topper with a groom holding one of his hands outstretched with the comedy mask and dipping the bride in his other hand, while in one of her outstretched hands she held the tragedy mask. Any suggestions or ideas were I could conceivably do something like this?

I checked out a couple of the sculptors on deviantArt, and they’re asking for about $ 6000. My fiance and I are on a budget; I do not want my cake topper to cost me more than my dress and my veil combined. It doesn’t really have to be all that intricately made, I just liked the idea.
