DFW/Arlington Wedding Venue?

I am attempting to plan a wedding for approx. 70 people for under $ 3,000. Sounds crazy but I’m confident it an be done. So, I am asking if anyone knows of a place to hold an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception that is AFFORDABLE. Preferably in the Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington Texas area. Thank you so much!

  1. banquet hall!

  2. It CAN be done…because we did it for our daughter and we had 100 people and it cost us $ 3,000.00.
Check into your local parks and recreation department. Many parks have lovely places for a outside wedding and they have community centers to hold the reception in. I work for parks in Calif….my park has a lovely pine grove that people marry in….my community center holds 200 , with a full kitchen and tables and chairs already on site. Another of our parks has a outdoor amphitheater in the round that is used quite a bit for weddings…..So check out your city and your surrounding cities for places. There is no fee for the park usage and the community center rental is around 500.00 for 4 hours (I think….maybe less).
    Good Luck!

  3. I am getting married in Irving in 3 weeks, some of the cheapest wedding reception venues were arein Irving. Im paying about 2800 w/ hall, and food for 90 people. At Glory House Catering/Hall in Irving. For Arlington, there was a really pretty venue I saw, I can get you their url, if you email me back. Also, Euless/Bedford had a venue too that was affordable. To cut cost, (I have planned alot of receptions), I noticed if you pick a restaurant that is also a banquet hall, that would be cheapest route. If you book a venue, and then have to hire a caterer, that is the expensive route. So pick a restaurant that also accomodate weddings. Also hotels are going to be expensive too, so you can stretch that off your list.
