Do male gay couple generally exchange wedding rings in wedding ceremonies?

Q.1) The same as the title question. If you answer “no” to this question , then what do they usually exchange?

As a straight guy, I have a male gay buddy Michael who plans to marry his partner in Canada soon. I am invited to his wedding ceremony.

Question 2) In a gay marriage ceremony, what are the general procedures?
( e.g. ring-exchanging, husbands kissing each other or etc?)

thanks

  1. they give one anothers butt hole ring ,,,around one anothers, inserted penic

  2. 1. Yes
    2. Its the same as a straight one, they say their vows and marry and have an party. That is if it is truly a celebration type ceremony cause i know some prefer quiet

  3. I’m not sure how gay men do it but I am a lesbian and I just got married in August and our ceremony was pretty typical compared to a heterosexual wedding ceremony. Why don’t you call or email your friend and ask him what type of ceremony they will be having.

  4. I’m gay and engaged to another guy. My initial plan is to exchange wedding bands at the ceremony. As for the kissing, well, it is customary in ANY wedding in my opinion to do so.

As for what constitutes a “gay wedding,” it’s really in the eye of the beholder. Everybody has a different type of wedding.

  6. Yes, gay couples usually exchange rings…However we usually wear them on our right hands instead of the left.
And, Yes, the ceremony is the same as a straight wedding.
And, thirdly, the perfect wedding gift is something that they,as a couple, need. Find out if they registered for gifts anywhere, and get them the best gift that you can afford. It will carry a lot of weight coming from a straight friend. Thanks for asking, and Good Luck!

  7. It is pretty much the same as a str8 wedding. Why would it not be?
