Do you think the price of a wedding ring is important?

I personally don’t care. I was just looking at a bunch of rings which were all under a $ 100 and I thought “Wow, these are really nice!” When my sister got married two years ago, her husband got her ring on his own and I thought “How, sweet”, but she claimed that it wasn’t big enough even though I thought it was really nice! She is very materialistic. I don’t think you should be getting married if you care THAT much about the ring. What do you think?
