Good to wear to a wedding?

I have this dress (JCrew Sophia chiffon) in espresso brown:

I have a graphite clutch as well. This is for a wedding. Are the shoes & dress a good match? What are other shoe options (besides metallic)?

    The shoes don’t really go with the dress at all but that’s up to you. I think it’s a great choice and you should wear you hair similar to the girl in the picture actually.

    A little too dressy? wth? It’s a wedding what are you supposed to wear? Jeans and a tshirt?

    The dress is cute. the shoes… I don’t know if they match well though.

    I couldn’t see which shoes were like yours because the item had ended :( That being said, I think the dress is PERFECT to wear to a wedding. I actually bought this same dress in the tulip pink color to wear to my brother’s wedding in a couple of weeks :) I love the chiffon fabric and the length makes it just right to wear as a guest!
    (shoe suggestion) Since the dress is such a good deep base color, you could wear something fun that would pop. I would suggest pink, green, red, or blue as long as you had jewelry/accessories to match. Make sure the shade isn’t too dark. Closer to a bright or pastel. I would go with a shoe made of fabric with a Sheen to it such as a satin. (but not a Shine like a patent leather) That will go well with the fabric of the dress.     (hair suggestion) Maybe some kind of loose romantic up-do. Lots of loose flowy waves softly pinned up with some face framing bangs left down in front if you have them or a small poof pinned into the front if you don’t.

    You should wear something you feel good about yourself in….if you like how you look and it makes you feel good and confident wear it…
