Has anyone ever bought flowers wholesale online?
Hi everyone! I am getting married this fall and my fiance and I are on a very tight budget. Ive looked at a lot of the wholesale websites for flowers and they seem to fit right into our budget, in fact we might be able to do more than i thought with those prices. I am just a little skeptical about ordering something so special online. Has anyone had experience with these websites? Any help or comments would be SO helpful! Thank you!

I know that most sites should be pretty good. I mean that is how everyone gets them when it comes down to it. Home Depot gets them whole sale from some where as does everyelse except nurseries. You could try to go to the local nurseries and see how much they charge for larger numbers.
Buying them online should be ok it really just depends on if the flowers can make it for a day or two in no sunlight from being boxed up. If i was you and i was going to buy them from online I would look at numerous sites and find out how far away and how fast I can get them. A place that ships them 2 hours away is better than a place 4 days away. Try to get them from a place that is close to you and look for hardy flowers. Flowers like roses and stargazers, orchids would not do so good. I would go to a nursery first and get the price and I would ask them about what flowers do good on being shipped and so on since many nurseries also have a online and shipping option so they should know what flowers do good on it and how long they can make it and so on.
