Has anyone purchased a wedding dress online from overseas?
I’ve been browsing online for wedding dresses. I found two websites that have great dresses and at affordable prices. Has anyone bought from Hong Kong, or China, or anywhere overseas? I’m nervous to purchase a dress and have it be poor quality. I’m even more nervous that all the oversea vendors are just scams!!! I just need a budget friendly dress!!!

I didn’t purchase my dress overseas, but I did purchase it online from Ebay. I found my dress (new condition) on an auction and won for about $ 300 (retail value was over $ 1200). All in all I had a good experience. The only problem that I encountered was the size of the dress. The dress was listed as a larger size at auction. After the auction was over, the seller contacted me and told me that the size was actually 1sz smaller. They gave me the option of keeping the dress with free shipping or declining the dress and auction. I kept the dress because it was so beautiful and one of a kind. When it arrived I was very happy at the quality and the bead work. To fix the the smaller size problem, I ended up taking it to my local tailor and having them add some fabric to the back so it would fit me. The day of the wedding I was so happy that I kept the dress despite having misgivings about the size.
I took $ 300 gamble on my dress, and it paid off big for me, but I had to be creative to make it work. I do suggest trying to find the brand name out and doing some research about that designer. I was able to find out the designer of my dress via the auction info, found her website, and could see other dresses that were comparable to mine. It definitely squashed my worries about the quality of the dress.

I’m looking at getting one from china on ebay. they are so cheap it’s hard to pass up. My friend did a year ago and it looked gorgeous. the material was a cheaper quality, but if you’re only wearing it for one day, I don’t think that matters.
I got my dress online from oversees… and its ammmazzzinggg..
The only thing was when you get it you have to measure probably 20 different places on your body… It takes a little while to do. but i did and i got my dress about a week ago and it is BEAUTIFUL
Anything you would buy from overseas would most likely be a knock off and be made in poor quality.
