It depends on the length of your dress. Try on different lengths at the dress shop when you are getting fitted at and also consider the height of your future hubby as well.
You may not want to look short but 7 inches is like hooker heals! Also walking in them (unless you already have walked in 7 inch heals) would be difficult, especially when you factor in the wedding dress.
I would think 4 inches at the most would be adequate. And I am sure you will look beautiful, whether you wear heals or not.
i don’t think you want to be as tall as your husband, i think you should wear them 3 or four inches. i think you should stay shorter than your husband.
You will be mingling, dancing, and moving all night long, you need to be comfy! I would go with comfort over height. My fiancĂ© is 8 inches taller than me, but I’m actually thinking about flats, at least for the reception. You could do a bit of a heel (I’d say 3 inches max) for pictures and the ceremony, but then slip into something comfy for the reception.
Also, you want to look natural, like yourself in your pictures, and if your towering over your friends and looking your husband eye to eye, that may be a little strange and noticeable by those who know you.
Wear the size heel that you are most comfortable in. If you are super comfortable in a 7 in. heel, then go ahead and wear them. But don’t wear them just to be taller on your wedding day.
My daughter is 5’7″, her fiance is 6′ 5″. She is super uncomfortable in most heels and is wearing a very low heel for her wedding (had her hem measured for that also).
The 2 of them will look beautiful in their wedding pictures just like they do in all the pictures they’ve had taken together over the years.
Just wear what you are most comfortable in and that you like the best, no matter if they are very tiny heels or super high.
Have you ever walked in 7 inch heels? I would not recommend it. It’s absolutely fine to be a few inches shorter than your hubby. Normally, there is a height difference between the two of you, so on your wedding day, people are going to think you’re on stilts or something. It will look odd. Just wear shoes that are a comfortable height for walking, standing, dancing… Mine are just over 2 inches, but I’m only wearing them for the ceremony. I have a separate pair of flats to wear for the rest of the day.
these are 7 inch heels

unless you know how to walk in them you will fall on your but and with all that dancing and standing your feet would be killing you 4 inch at the most i would think
7 inch heels are ridiculous. not appropriate for a wedding.
my fiance is 5’2″ and i am 6’0” and she is wearing 4 maybe 5 inch heels.
plus you dont want to be the same height as your husband. the pictures wont look right.
Come on…7 inches, seriously? Are you a stripper by trade? There is no way you are going to be able to wear 7 inch heels all day. I’m all for wearing high heels, but be serious here. You’re 5 feet tall, you’re short, people know that, get over it.
