I’m going to a wedding in Acapulco beach. I’m planning to wear a linen light beige suite, and white shoes?

Is it OK to wear white shoes with that kind of suit? what color does the belt has to be?… should I wear tie or not? It’s going to be a very elegant event and I want to be very fashion but I haven’t been reading GQ this year.
