I’m short, but love ball gown wedding dresses?!?

What’s a girl to do!!
I always here that short girls should never wear ball gown dresses…But I’ve always invisioned myself wearing ball gown dress….

So does the rule apply to all short girls…or can a short girl pull one off with the right dress/shoes?

I’m 5’1″, 124lbs, a have curves, 32/34 C, and a JLo-ish butt…
i’m not getting married…I just like looking at dresses. lol

You could always wear heels to give yourself some height. Don’t wear too much jewelry and try to wear your hair up – this way your neck appears longer. I would suggest you go and try on dresses you like. I’m sure there’s a ball gown that will flatter you just fine

yah one can pull it off, just have high heels while wearing it if it is large

Actually, short girls CAN pull off ball gowns, just make sure it’s the right one. Not too big, and not too distracting or overpowering. Go for a dropped waist especially, that is key.

I’m 5’1″ and I wore a ball gown for one of my pageants.

You could do wear what you like. You just need some special size for you.
