Irish/Celtic combined with Country/Rustic wedding?
Irish/Celtic combined with Country/Rustic wedding?
We are having a Irish wedding theme, while tying in a country feel. My Fiance is Irish, and I grew up on an acreage on a farm type thing so I’d like to bring our histories together.
Here’s what I’ve got so far:
We are having an outside ceremony out of town, I’ve looked into bringing in bagpipers for it, plus we are using a celtic oathing stone. If we do not get the bagpipers, we will be using celtic music.
Our invites have claddagh’s on them, and our colors are shamrock green with a medium grey.
I’m looking into getting shamrocks worked into our bouquets.
Our reception venue is a a log style hall. It is very beautiful and rustic. I was looking at having lantern centrepieces with a votive inside, and then a couple flowers matching the bouquets around the lantern. However, I’d really like to work something irishy in with it as well. Any ideas?
I’m looking at either getting a claddagh or horseshoe cake topper.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to incorporate both elements more? I’m open to any ideas!
