My fiance doesn’t want to use the figurine type cake toppers, so I was looking for something different and found a really pretty picture frame cake topper that was heart shaped and made of swarovski crystals…except it was 90 dollars. Does anyone know where I can get a less expensive version? I’ve been having a lot of trouble (I did find a couple that where just a clear heart with a picture inside, but I do want some kind of frame around the picture).
Also, what is your opinion on this? I think it would look really cute on a multiple tiered cake, but I’m only have one tier because I have such a small amount of people…so should I even do a cake topper at all? And if not, what should I do instead?

You will only get married once – splurge and get the topper with the swarovski crystals. Put it on layaway if you have to; you won’t regret it. Best Wishes!

Unless it’s a little picture I think it might be a big much for a one tiered cake, but I can’t picture it accurately since I haven’t seen your cake or the frame. If you like it I’m sure it’s fine, nobody is going to say anything about an awkward looking cake topper, who cares?
I think we are going to put a picture of us on the table next to the cake, but I haven’t seen any frames I like for an actual cake topper. I definitely think some kind of a personal touch to the cake or cake table is awesome.

However, you don’t HAVE to have cake toppers, especially if you cake is small. You can use flowers or candy to decorate your cake as well
