question about weddings and wedding rings? how do they work?
I WILL CHOOSE A BEST ANSWER THIS TIME. I Did not last time but will this time hopefully better answers.
okay so you got engagement rings or ring.. That is the ring you put on the girls finger when you ask her to marry you. Yes?
Than you got another ring that best man usually keeps safe for you right? that is a marriage ring what is that?
isnt the wedding rings basic rings that man and woman both wear to show they are married? Guys dont wear a nice ring they just wear a basic ring..
So do women not wear the basic wedding ring than what ring do they wear? usually they wear a nice ring with like a diamond on it
so do you get a girl a nice engagement ring and than another nice married wedding ring for her to win.

When you ask a girl to marry you, you present her with a “nice” ring the one with the diamonds or whatever designs you have on it.
When it comes time to get married, you and her exchange wedding bands (the basic ring or sometimes matching). This ring is exchanged during your oficial wedding or ceremony whatever your tradition or preferance.
Some women these days like to wear their (usually thinner) wedding band under their engagement ring. Just to have the bigger rocks still on their finger (for show if u ask me).
Otherwise the traditional way is for both husband and wife to have on their wedding bands (basic rings) .
The classic engagement ring is made of yellow or white gold, or perhaps platinum if a skin allergy is a problem. (Pure gold is a very soft, bendable metal, and is almost always alloyed with other metals for durability. If the allow contains nickel, it can cause an allergic reaction in as many as 10% of the population.)
The engagement ring usually has a diamond as a center stone, either all by itself (a solitaire) or with additional smaller stones. It’s not necessary to have the ring ready to offer her when she accepts your proposal. In fact it’s really wiser for both of you to select her ring together. She’ll be wearing it for years to come, so it might as well be something she’ll be happy with. There will be issues of ring size, the style and quality of the ring, and of course how much you can afford to pay for it.
A wedding band (marriage ring) is usually a plainer band. Ideally it should coordinate with the engagement ring. Before the wedding ceremony, the best man is in charge of the wedding ring. The bride has taken off her engagement ring, so that when her bridegroom places the wedding ring on her fourth finger, left hand, it’s nearest her heart. She puts her engagement ring back on right after the ceremony, outside the wedding ring, and wears the two rings that way from then on.
A wedding ring is optional for the man. If he does have one, it’s usually a plain band of yellow or white gold, or perhaps titanium or even stainless steel. A man who works with chemicals or dangerous equipment usually prefers not to wear his ring at work, although he may have one that he received at his wedding ceremony, and wear it at other times.
So do you get a girl a nice engagement ring and than another nice wedding ring for her?
Yes, that’s the idea.
If you can find out her ring size then that’s the first step. Check out your diamond ring options online first. You may want to go into stores but you also will want to see what options hold for an online e-tailer. You buy her a ring. Then you propose. Once she says yes and you decide on the date, then you two will buy the band. Frequently and traditionally your girlfriend will buy you the band and you will buy her the band. But that’s only if she can afford to buy you the band.
Good Luck!
