Royal blue dress – what shoes and colour tights?

I am going to wedding,I have a royal blue dress, what colour shoes do you suggest? I’ve fat calves and my sisters say nude tights do not suit me, they are very “old lady”. I’m limited to dark tights, so I think silver is not a runner. Would black opaque and black shoes be a disaster?

Try nude tights and classic black pumps. Have fun at the wedding!
my friend wore a blue dress and silver/gray tights and wore silver shoes too and it looked really good
I think Black would look Great with royal blue just add some great black shoes and jewelry and your good to go! Have fun!!
I have a similar problem with big calves and find nude tights too…nude therefore up to this year I have stuck to black.
I have a wedding on saturday and as it’s winter and now more in fashion I can wear thick (100 denier) white tights with my black dress.
As your dress is Royal blue I think white wouldn’t suit but I would encourage you to try new colours!
I would stick to black tights this time as I think you would feel more comfortable. Black shoes would be fine with this. If you want to jazz this up you could get small royal blue or sliver shoe clips (hair clips also work) to put on your shoes. This sounds silly but defiantly works!

I think black opaque tights with black lace shoes would look great. I found great ones on http://www.shopzoey.com. I have seen so many celebrities wear peep toes with tights. I think it looks really cool.

I think silver shoes would be good. If you do not like silver you can go for black. Black tights and black shoes.
